Oh man I bought eggs from Fresh Thyme Market today. Their receipt has items listed by category and they have eggs under dairy.

So... they think eggs come from cows now??

Eggs are usually classified under dairy. I guess because, like milk, they are animal products that are not meat.

Mine lists eggs under dairy too but I just assumed because they're all in the same section of the fridge in the store and it made more sense categorically to them than just having an egg category?
