122- Agreed. It ruined Nate/Blair. And yes I’m pretty sure no one on the production team has read the books- seriously. I mean Chuck/Blair is the OTP of most people in this fandom. IT DIDN’T EVEN HAPPEN IN THE BOOKS!

I LOVED Nate/Blair in the books. The show really disappointed me. Also I don't like what they did with Vanessa. Where is our awesomely weird alternative girl? D:

Yeah I loved Book!Nate/Blair. Vanessa was made of awesome in the books. Despite the fact she's nowhere near as great in the show- she's still one of the best characters in my opinion! :)

The way I deal with the differences between the book and the show is that I view them as different fandoms! =P I ship different ships in the show than I do in the books and I like different characters. They're just so different it's impossible to view them as the same fandom! =P

I actually really loved Nate/Blair in the books, I don't mind Chuck/Blair fans, but the fact that it has gone from awesome book to the "Blair/Chuck" show is kinda.. sad. I mean, yeah, I ship them, but they're not my OTP or anything close.

I don't mind Chuck/Blair fans, but the fact that it has gone from awesome book to the "Blair/Chuck" show is kinda.. sad.

Agreed. I have no problem with Chuck/Blair fans at all- but the fact that the show seems too focussed on them as a couple at times is a bit frustrating for those of us who were fans of the books first!

Or just for fans of the show, even. It was the friendships between the main four, the contrasts between their private worlds and public faces, and, ok, the fashion which got me into the show.

I'd like it not to be the Chuck/Blair hour, thankyouverymuch. Even though I find that ship has chemistry.

Agreed. They have chemistry- no doubt. But I don't want the show to become completely focussed on them as a couple. THE OTHER CHARACTERS ARE INTERESTING TOO! =P

Yup, yup, yup! While Little J committed some totally questionable acts, I was also completely involved in her story arc. When she was trying to get the dress off, my heart was caught in my throat with her. No way would I want some of the other characters wiped out for Chuck/Blair.

Well, ok, Vanessa, I guess. She creeps me out a little. :(
