131. Almost no one who finds incest interesting in fiction supports it in real life because of the terrible consequences. If it bothers you so much though, maybe you should go cold turkey and stop reading it. There's no point in tormenting yourself over stories.

151. Even if I believed in hell, I would think being an intelligent, insightful person who gave pleasure to millions would make him a pretty poor candidate for that place.

On that note, though, I wonder why so many people "don't support" (as in, think it's horrible?) twincest IRL, since the whole problem with incest IS the terrible consequences... ie, genetic problems with any potential offspring. If both twins are male or both twins are female, that aspect doesn't even come up. Hmm. :/

To me, the terrible problems IRL are the psychological ones. Birth control can prevent offspring but nothing can prevent the emotional fallout.

Ah, I can certainly understand that- I think it's easy for there to be a lot of emotional and psychological inherent in a relationship that's both familial and romantic/sexual, even in an equal relationship. Still, with the emotional fallout that comes with ANY relationship, it's more likely but I'm sure it's not across the board either. Probably should be taken on a case by case basis- twincest IRL probably does usually have more problems than other couple-types, but ones who are happy in their choice, power to 'em- I don't go around going "OMG TWINS SO HAWT I WONDER IF THEY'RE SEXING" or encouraging them to do so, but if I found out they WERE, after making sure they were both okay and happy with it, I wouldn't really care. Yanno? I can see it being less likely to be a good situation, but I don't think it's an utter impossibility.

Still, even in that case, thinking it's hot in fandom doesn't pose any problems genetically or with emotional fallout, so! Still not a big deal to enjoy it in fiction as long as you keep your lines drawn. ♥
