Are you asking if we prefer that our favorite character tops or bottoms?

I don't approach slash in a "I like this character, who do I slash him with?" way, but a "Do I like this pair together?" way. If I have a preference for which character tops, it's not based on which one I like more. It's more like a feeling that one character might be more into it one way, or that this is the dynamic this particular couple would have. I don't often have a preference, anyway.
