Office Stuff

What are your favorite fun/novelty office items? As long as they have a use! Trying to make my office look more lived in and I don't have a theme or anything.

The only real novelty item I have is a red Swingline.

Otherwise, one thing I did was get some washi tape and got to embellishing. Any clips that I put onto the cube wall? Washi taped. My spinny pen-and-whatsit-holder? Washi tape borders. File holder? Edged in washi!

I also got a cheap ass rug to put in my space, and I got a print framed and hung it on one of those Command strip hangers on the one wall I have, and I have the brightest, most colorful, most amazing demotivational calendar declaring, while spewing flowers everywhere, that The Struggle is Real.

Between all that, the plants, the salt lamp, and the good-sized acrylic dinosaur skeleton I put on a cubicle shelf, I've been told that my cube is very homey.

And while they're not office supplies, a few photos, a small office plant and maybe a box with a stash of snacks and hot cocoa/tea/instant coffee mixes along with a mug can make your office space feel a lot more cozy.

I don't have any windows so plants are hard. But I do need to get some dang photos so it looks like a person lives there. But thanks for all the stuff to peruse! Even if I don't get any of that I can see the related stuff.

Snake plant, philodendron, spider plant, bromeliads, maidenhair ferns and sword ferns, maranta leuconeura, peace lily, and lucky bamboo should all do okay, especially if you swap them out every month so they can get some bright indirect sunlight at home for a bit.
