House Intelligence Committee staff pulling out all stops to kill privacy amendments to 702 spying bill. They sent email to lawmakers this afternoon saying @ACLU wants to “endanger security of the United States”.

"Bringing government spying powers in line with the Constitution does not damage intelligence capabilities— in fact, it lets the government focus resources on real threats."
