I had planned to shave and color my hair and do my nails, but I burned my right hand on the oven a couple of hours ago, and now that's not going to happen. :(

What were you planning on coloring it? I am amazed at people who can do their own hair. I hope your hand heals soon. :(

Touching up my usual bright red. I've been mixing my own color for years now. Doing my own hair is easy when it's short, I use a mirror and a special brush.

Thanks. I cooled it right away for twenty minutes, so I hope the damage won't be too bad. But it hurts, and it will probably blister, even with the cold and the salve I put on it afterwards.

(Also, typing with only eight fingers is really weird...)

Ugh, that sucks! Hope it heals up quick. My partner is a chef and he's forever coming home with awful-looking burns on his wrist/side of his hand. Burns are the worst.
