I would check in with this Anon LJ comm every once in a while, even after my show ended and it was mostly abandoned. Sometimes there would be new comments, mostly nonsense, but I would always get excited when I'd see a new comment posted.

The truth is, though, I just liked re-reading the old posts and arguments and wank.

I just found out today that the anon comm for my old fandom has been deleted. I doubt it's ever coming back, and that makes me very sad. I guess this means the party really is over.

S!B: I've been involved in several fandoms and I've always had the reputation for being a level-headed, non-wanky sort of fan. My fellow fans in this fandom would be shocked to find out that I was a regular commenter in this comm. Now that it's gone, I can't share my sadness about its passing with anyone in my fandom circle.

It feels like opinion falls into two camps with the Thor films: those who love the first two and hate the third and those who hate the first two (but especially the second) but love the third.

And I'm over here being a fan of all three. Even though I was so over the Earth parts of the second film it still has a lot of aspects of the Thor franchise that I enjoy. The third wasn't what I expected but as I had a good time overall I wouldn't even say I was disappointed, just wished a couple of things had been done differently. So I think I get why you wouldn't like it at all.

Same, There have been other force users who weren't part of the Skywalker lineage, and i'm not sure why people don't get that, having this in the main movie storyline goes "Hey, we're tired of the Skywalkers too, time to open the world up - after we give you two spinoffs of people who were closely associated with them, but better late than never."

Has there ever been a story in the verse about some kind of Force Eugenics experiment? I'd read that.

IA. Rey is the best and I'd love to shop her but I just don't like any of the ships. Some are like... fine, but not great, and some are awful, but there's none that are genuinely good IMO.

And Finn rose is pretty good on its own terms. I like Rose.
