I reach the most notorious episode of Enterprise, and I mostly agree with the general consensus. It's (I think) a comedy episode that's not funny, and it's also a serious character assassination of Archer. Had Scott Bakula pissed off the creators or something?

Anyone else listen to it? I've just started, and I like it, but I just heard two stories, and one kind of had a conclusion but then became about something else entirely, and another mystery has zero conclusion. I thought the premise was solving family mysteries? Or is it more about exploring dynamics?

I don't hate it but bacon is just okay, yet it gets salivated over like it's the best thing ever and it's just not to me.

Also don't get the Steak hype(but I think I've really gone off of beef as I've gotten older because I really don't care for any of it anymore).

I do hate mushrooms though while everyone else around me is like 'but they're so tasty! no, no they're not.

Eggs. Eggs are fine baked in things. Fried eggs are fine as an occasional thing. But other than that? Ew.

Milk. I hate the taste. I don't want to drink it, I don't want it in my coffee, and I don't want it on my cereal.

Red meat. Chicken and turkey weren’t horrible but just kind of meh, and I miss bacon and salmon and lobster and crab, but red meat was always nasty. I wish there were good vegetarian crab, lobster, and salmon substitutes, but I haven’t eaten meat in 20+ years so my tastes might’ve changed since then.

Anything hot and spicy. People seem to put chili powder in everything these days (including chocolate, wtf???) and I just do not get it. Spicy/hot foods make my mouth too numb to taste anything so to me, there's no point eating it.

So there's this...lost/"secret" (also known as my mom probably being crazy) episode of Friends that my mom has been trying to find.

It's about Rachel going to a funeral for the dad of some guy she's dating. The guy has a little niece who's like 5 or 6. She's sad, and Rachel tries to make her feel better and says something along the lines of "Grandpa's always watching you, he's here right now", and the little girl says something like "you mean my grandpa's a ghost?!" and Rachel says that he is, and the little girl freaks out and runs off screaming.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'm not hugely into Friends and haven't seen that many episodes, but from googling and asking a couple of my friends who love the show, it seems this episode doesn't exist, but my mom swears it does. Is this an episode anyone else here has seen? Or could it maybe be a movie Jennifer Aniston was in? Thanks!

I decided a long time ago I didn't want children and I haven't changed my mind about that. But I kinda wouldn't mind babysitting from time to time and wish someone would ask me? The problem is, I have absolutely no references or credentials and nobody I know has a young kid who needs babysitting. I have a relatively tidy home, I can cook/bake, I have a driver's license and a clean driving record, I don't smoke/drink.

This sounds dumb like I just want to borrow someone's kid and pretend to be a parent for a while, and... I guess I sort of do.

minimalism

Is this minimalism trend ever going to end? I am so over clean lines and neutral colors. Give me wildly painted walls plastered in art and posters! Give me mismatched furniture! Give me throw pillows in florals and polka dots and plaid, all on the same sofa! Maybe throw in a disco ball for good measure.

Does your style lean more towards minimalism or maximalism?
