I agree that it had plotting issues. Like a lot of other movies, but yeah, there were plotting issues there. I don't know how you come to the conclusion that those plotting issues were the result of Rian Johnson deliberately being pretentious.

And fuck what it did to the original trio characters.

What specifically are your problems with what it did to the original trio characters.
