112. Treat it like you would any friend in real life. If you're not willing to break up with your boyfriend (I assume, from your "but we're both girls!" comment, it's a boyfriend) over a crush, it's not really anything you need to bring up. If you're wouldn't try to break one of your other friends up with his/her significant other over your crush, again, don't pressure the girl you know online. It's not a completely and utterly different deal from the people you know IRL. If you have a boyfriend and want to stay with him, and you respect the fact that SHE has someone, then just let it slide. The last thing either of you want is mass conflict over a maybe-crush. If things change, the the way you deal with it can change then, but as it is, just use common sense as to how you should act.

123. Um... no, it isn't? People learn and get their values through ALL SORTS of things. If you don't expect to just absorb nothing and turn your brain completely off when reading or watching something, you're going to be absorbing ideas, and ideas can impact you. That's all. It's not a big, major deal, and they sound like really good traits and things you gained.

140. Well, yes. But you also have to take into account that Ten is hardly the longest run for his regenerations. MOST of them have run two or three years, and Three was on for four years before regenerating. Ten's time is probably drawing to its natural close, but he's hardly dragging on. Eight and Nine were actually the amazingly short exceptions to the runtime rule!

146. Other people have probably addressed this way better than I could. Just letting you know that you've started out really badly when your first sentence basically reads as "AS AN ARTIST, MY OPINION IS SUPERIOR TO ALL OTHERS." Including, apparently, other artists. Just so you know.
148. Well, they are hot, but I can give or take them- and I can definitely take them when it's full of the hotness of PERSONALITIES CLASHING FUCK YES so I really just like fucked up sex okay. And messed up relationships. I agree with you on them, for the most part ♥
153. Then the Bond fandom's not missing out. Sorry to say. You don't actually want to watch a Bond movie, you want to watch a David Tennant movie, which is fine but the two don't really need to be confused. So!
154. And why do you assume that writing an established relationship is automatically "doing better"? Just because you prefer it doesn't mean it's better. Some people like first time stories. A LOT of romance stories revolve around that, in fact. You preferring something different from what she wants to write isn't constructive criticism, it's you telling her she's not good enough until she writes what YOU specifically want her to.
156. Actually, I personally like the style, including the details, the lighting, and the eyes. The fact that they're all in pretty much exactly the same pose is unsettling, though, I'll admit that.

(Anonymous) 2008-07-05 08:37 pm (UTC)(link)The problem is not that this author writes first-time stories, but that she writes the same first-time story over and over, no matter what potentially interesting point she starts from.
Kinda goes with your response to #156. I like this writer's style, but her stories are all pretty much exactly the same.
