I've been that way since I was like...25. I turned 29 this year and was utterly convinced I was turning 30 for like a month beforehand.

I've been doing that my entire fucking life. I had to ask my mom once, and she wasn't sure either. We had to sit there an figure it out.

How do you forget how old you are? I never realized that was a thing... do you not celebrate your birthday?

I don't celebrate mine, but I regularly forget how old I am. I just have to count up from my birth year every time to figure it out hahaha.

Haha, if you don't celebrate I guess I understand. I always make a face at my brother when he forgets my age though. Like, dude, you are '82 and I am '83. Just minus a year and you'll be in the right ballpark.

I often forget how old I am. Once you've passed 21, it seems like 0 years are the big milestones - 30, 40, 50, etc. Once you've passed a zero year, it's just "I'm in my 30s", or "I'm in my 40s." I just don't think about my current age, because there's really no reason to.

That's my excuse, anyway. Not sure about other people.

nayrt but I forget how old I am. I dunno, maybe it's the depression but time blurs together a lot faster now than it did when I was younger so everything over 30 (I'm 40 now) doesn't really matter a whole lot. The most I do to celebrate my birthday is go out to dinner with family because I'm not big on parties. It's just... not important?

I went around for nearly the entire year that I was 44 thinking I was actually 45. I didn't realize the mistake until my birthday was near and wow I felt stupid. At the time people were saying "Hey, you get an extra year!" except the year was one of the worst years of my life so maybe I was subconsciously trying to skip it.

I don't forgetit a lot but it happens sometimes and it doesn't help that my mother has the habit of bringing up my age... only to be wrong quite often.
