Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely. A well meaning friend recommended to me like it was YA fantasy that was the antithesis to Twilight. I was like no, it's crappy in a different way, but still crap.

Melissa Marr is a guilty pleasure author of mine. Her work isn't groundbreaking, original, or anything but it was engaging enough to pass the time.
