It does look generic, and I'm still really excited about it.

I want to really express as strongly as possible how little I care that it looks generic. It's a genre movie, in a genre that we don't see nearly enough people making, and it looks well-executed, and Alicia Vikander is good. That's enough for me, and I think that's a reasonable thing for a genre film to aim at.

I so wanted another TR film, and Vikander was a damn fine choice... Basing it on 3rd gen Lara has made me biologically incapable of getting excited for this.

I mean, a lot of action trailers look generic, and anon above is right, it's a genre film which leads to that genericness. But yeah, I think it looks well done and like a lot of fun, so I'll probably be there with bells on.

I found most of their stuff forgettable but Zombie was/is my jam. That song is phenomenal and the singing was great.
