While gamers tend to overreact I do think there is a point with loot boxes being linked to gambling and exploiting children and teenagers is a pretty big deal that needs to be addressed and looked into after so many years. Ofc probably most of the gamers whining are probably overlooking that fact and more about shitty releases, micro transactions, on disc dlc, etc.
