No, I don't. when I click the link to go between pages 1 and 2 of the comments, it anchors me to the start of the comments section, not the top of the page.

I only have to scroll thru those ONCE. When you hit General Comments/Reload it stays under the secrets.

People have now literally spend more arguing about how much space my image takes up than they have commenting on the image.

I mean, hell, I'm good with no matter what, but it is a bit of a waste.

I guess it's inevitable at this point that at least half your threads will be instantly derailed by some shit-stirrer or other. If they weren't complaining that you posted an image on a community that revolves around posting images, they'd be complaining that Case hadn't banned you yet or whatever. :\

iirc one of the regulars on /tesg/ had a harem of cutie orc waifus? Maybe it was buffscale, idr. jfc I just realized I haven't been to /tesg/ in like a year.

Orcs really are great. The orc waifu wouldn't understand this thread. She'd win it, of course, but she wouldn't understand it.

And they really do derail this shit quick. It's like they don't understand me at all. I'd like to talk about qt orc waifus, but I'm perfectly happy to argue the toss about the pros and cons of images in comments too.

Like, have I been hiding my power level or something? Is it somehow possible that they don't get that I enjoy pointless arguments? I mentioned that I'm a comics and anime fan right? And that I frequent 4chan?

Not to mention if you want to go full waifu harem orcs are familiar with the concept. You could have a shield wife, forge wife, etc. and so long as you were sufficiently manly they'd be totally cool with it. At least if we're talking about cute TES orcs. Other orcs are maybe less into sharing.

Hyperbole isn't actually all that unique. You've probably seen and ignored it hundreds of times, when it wasn't used in a complaint against you.

Maybe that means that most people here (other than soldatsasha) aren't really interested in your posts.

Yes, sometimes people use hyperbole.

It's something I've actually made an effort to excise from my own speech because of the section of the population that will take it literally (at least when it's something they disagree with) and act I was being totally serious.

I wouldn't say it's that much of an overreaction, but I wouldn't have taken it seriously. Obviously, they meant that they find your big images annoying.

But that's why I try very hard to avoid hyperbole now. One slip-up, and I've had a massive overreaction, even if I was being pretty calm when I spoke.

But it's basically how people argue online these days. Just accuse the person you disagree with of overreaction or being emotional. So if you want to express disagreement you have to be very careful with your wording.
