nayrt. How hard is it to understand that a series doesn't exactly work like real life and that for the purposes of telling a story, you only need one childbearing plot thread at a time, so not everyone will necessarily have babies by the end of a show?

I am honestly confused at what point you're trying to make. You're mad that Sex in the City had more than one plotline about adult women having kids? Really? When there were two plotlines, including the protagonist herself, about choosing not to have kids?
