I never wanted kids, never changed my mind about it and wish I had a dollar for every time I was told I would change my mind or otherwise belittled or insulted for it.

My parents had the same attitude. They've never pestered me or my sister about that stuff. Neither have any of my relatives, come to think of it. And I'm very thankful for that.

Weirdly, though, my mom's told me that some of her co-workers seem surprised when they find out she's not a grandma, and don't get why she's not getting on me or my sister (who's married) to have kids. Why they feel that's their business, I don't know, but...*Shrugs*
