Thank you so much, and I'm sorry you suffer with them as well! I had a couple smaller ones in the exact same spot on the other hip a year or two ago and a large one on my inner thigh (which ended up popping by itself an hour before my appointment and I had a little happy cry). :( I just feel disgusting right now, I don't get why I keep getting them. I shower every day (sometimes twice if work has been really busy/dirty) and they always come in around the hip area. Ugh.

Thanks again for the advice. I think my partner thinks I'm exaggerating it but oh my god it's so uncomfortable.

I started getting recurrent abscesses as complications from diabetes. I'd get a pimple and because my skin couldn't heal right from high blood sugars they'd inevitably turn into boils.

They really had nothing to do with cleanliness. Might suggest your doctor run labs to test your blood sugar if you have the insurance for it.
