(Anonymous) 2018-01-28 03:37 am (UTC)(link)Or if it's really big, your GP can lance it. I've also had that done and it's not fun but it works and at least it'll be safer than trying to do it yourself. My GP also gave me a prescription for antibiotics to take.

Thanks again for the advice. I think my partner thinks I'm exaggerating it but oh my god it's so uncomfortable.

(Anonymous) 2018-01-28 04:06 pm (UTC)(link)I started getting recurrent abscesses as complications from diabetes. I'd get a pimple and because my skin couldn't heal right from high blood sugars they'd inevitably turn into boils.
They really had nothing to do with cleanliness. Might suggest your doctor run labs to test your blood sugar if you have the insurance for it.
