Wow. I've never rolled my eyes so hard at this many F!Sers at once before.

An alien eats a cat for food. Most of us eat smarter animals than cats all the time, and we do so knowing full well that we're free to choose from a huge number of alternative nutrient sources. As far as I'm concerned, fishguy is less reprehensible than I am for the bacon I'm going to have for breakfast tomorrow.

i can see why someone would feel this protective over their own particular pet they treat as family, but in general yeah, this is me. so long as i'm still chomping down beef and pork, cat or dog death isn't going to make me feel worse, it's almost like i'm belittling the cows and pigs that died if i do that. vegetarians and vegans can get a chance to lecture me, but nothing's probably gonna come out of that too.
