As a casual fan, the opinions I've seen on this movie are pretty split, ppl seem to either want it like yesterday or don't want it all. It's interesting to see.

So...did they make a different dinosaur than the one from the first JW? I know some concept are from the first JW had human/dino hybrids but that one didn't look very human.

Reviews are that it is really bad. Probably why they decided to put it on Netflix. ALSO, this movie was written before the second movie and was not at all related. They just tacked any Cloverfield stuff on out of nowhere.

I really enjoyed it, even though its attachment to Cloverfield seems tenuous at best.

I want to like this show but it feels very hollow to me... It's beautiful and I like the story and the actors (and Maeve and Dolores are intriguing) but for some reason I don't feel excitement for this?
