Crocs get a bad rap. Snakes are at least allowed to be spooky and elegant.

I think tortoises and turtles are more often shown as heroic in English-language works. Wasn't there a good guy turtle in a Pixar movie? Maybe?

There are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, of course.

The alien in Enemy Mine is sort of reptilian-looking.

There should be more good-guy lizards. I don't know why I'm drawing a blank.

There are no good guys in Warhammer Fantasy as far as I can tell, but I used to think that if I ever took it up I'd play the Lizardmen.
