hahaha, oh god the giant mousetrap. That was hilarious. I think at the end Rod started losing it a bit; there was another one that was basically the same idea as the TZ where the pretty girl is in the world where everyone else is ugly, except it was a normal looking teenage boy in a future world where everyone's ugly. They did the same deal of trying to hide everyone's faces until the big surprise ending, except WAY less successfully. Still, I love that show. Wish they'd release the rest of the series on DVD.

114. I'd have nothing against (and even probably ship) KakaIru if it were just an another crack pairing, but its popularity squicks me. The only thing Kakashi and Iruka have in common is that they are both Konoha ninja and Naruto's teachers, so why don't so many fans ship Kakashi with Jiraya then? At least they had more than one conversation. (Not that I ship it, of course! D:)
And I really want to read Gai/Kakashi. Gen. Cry moar, I know. XD

I don't think it's the acting style so much as the writing, but it's there and he's always going to be MY Doctor.

This is a different anon, though I am friends with Anon #1.

I was in the same situation as her, and wish only to say OMFG, if I learned one thing from that situation it's to stay away from people who thrive on manufactured drama. This BNF ex-friend was very talented and deserved to have people pay attention to them, but mother of god they stirred up an incredibly amount of chaos for their own entertainment, a lot of which then spilled into our RL friendships.

I think Rod basically disowned the series near the end. And I don't believe I've seen that episode of either series yet, unfortunately. Either way, yes, it would be awesome to get more of the series. I've only seen the first season of Night Gallery out as of yet, which is really a shame. Plus, imho, they need some more Outer Limits out as well. Not the same company, but as long as we're talking about these kinds of shows. |Db

Outer Limits has a certain charm to it, but Twilight Zone definitely has a better mood and better writing.

111. The exclusion of honorifics shows disrespect if you don't know or aren't close to the person. So if anything, he didn't think Kanda deserved to be treated with respect. Might not equal hate, but seriously, Hoshino obviously wanted to drive the point home that Allen wasn't a fan of Kanda and vice-versa. Not an indication of a special relationship, there.

The same can't be said of Lenalee and Johnny, since it actually implies familiarity with a person when you drop honorifics after a certain amount of time being friends/close.

101. Your friends are jackasses if they won't appreciate the true awesome of Twilight Zone just because it's old. Can't talk much about the series much, sorry, but even I can see it from the few episodes I've seen.

125. Gotta admit, they're super cute boots. Finding anime/video game character boots in general is hard because everyone wants to put heels and straps and buckles and sequins and fake fur on them -- especially if you're a girl. And if you're a guy? Pretty out of luck too, because cowboy boots and work boots and maybe some combat boots are your only hope, and those tend to look nothing like what you're looking for.

148. I've stayed out of the fandoms of a lot of the books I read as a child for the same reasons. I like them to stay "pure" in my eyes. I don't want to read smut into them.

160. IIRC, there were a lot of things that people tend to see as objectionable in it (though I've never watched it, so I can hardly judge it). There's a reason it wasn't aired during the daytime. It hardly makes you racist because you don't like one show that deals with black characters. That's like the whole "you're misogynistic if you hated Twilight because the author is a woman." It's silly. I don't like Sailor Moon -- does this make me misogynistic? Wait, don't answer that...
