I wouldn't say it's the best, I much prefer Robot Chicken and Frisky Dingo, but it is brilliant, and probably a lot smarter than alot of the rest of the comedy block. Unfortunately, it's so topic and so vulgar at once that it probably alienatess a lot of people who have no interest in one but might like the other.

160 - I know what you mean, and I kinda get the impression that people are misinterpreting your reasons for worrying. It's not that you're missing the point, just that there are a lot of stupid assholes whose first assessment of you might be "omg racist!" if you said you didn't like it. Either that or the pretentious assholes who would insist that you just don't *get* it. Ugh. Anyway, I totally sympathize.

116. I really wish the characters I love and admire weren’t always accused of being Sues because they’re capable and loved without being basket cases. But since this has been happening since the dawn of Shipping Wars, I don’t think this is likely to happen soon.

But this is really starting to get on my nerves. I'm not sure if it's my inner feminist fuming at the blatant double-standard, or my inner fangirl screeching, "How can you say that she is AWESOME and I want to be her for Halloween and she has the best hair and she kicks ASS!"

101. I'd actually never watched Twilight Zone before, until there was a marathon the other day and I watched a handful of episodes. And you know, they were good.

Also, it was incredibly influential, and a lot of the reason it seems so cliched today is a) everyone since has followed in its path and b) it dug deep into the basic archetypes at the heart of speculative fiction.

So, no shame!

114. Eh, on the one hand I mostly agree. But I also think a lot of fans want to give Naruto a mommy and daddy figure--this theme shows up a lot in official anime pandering art and Japanese fanart.

And honestly, this isn't much of a secret. You can find a place to bitch about pretty much any pairing in Naruto fandom. It's that kind of a place!

I probably would have agreed more back when I gave more of a damn about the series, though. But even then I usually found KakaIru fandom easy to ignore.

112. I'm not the OP but I certainly see where s/he is coming from. L's got a lot of stereotypically feminine traits.. I mean, if he were a girl, he'd be really adorable. Plus, he's arguably one of the most powerful characters in the series. Sure, he gets killed off halfway through, but the heroes that come after do it in his image. He's sort of like Hector. It'd be nice to have a powerful female character in the show. I mean, I myself am a huge Rem fan, and I recognize that Matsuda is Misa's distaff counterpart. I'm not sure I can imgaine L as a woman, though, so I can't agree with the OP.

111. Sorry, whenever I see that image I just... I think that both it is a very pretty image because I am SUCH a sucker for black and white contrasts like that... and partly that it looks like they're posing for a rockband's CD-cover. I cannot focus on your secret, but I will say that hatepairings arent' exactly uncommon. Wether they're logical or not is up to debate, but they do exist, so it's not weird that one would see romantic subtext in such a relationship.
