Good. Today is the last day of my 3 consecutive days off work, and I feel refreshed and ready to go back to work tomorrow. Plus the weather has been gorgeous and there are signs of spring everywhere, so yay!

I feel like I'm just losing everything and everyone. I can't deal with this shit and I want to die.

I feel like a mental break is not far, I'm probably going to not post as often to limit stress.

Do you have access to medical professionals?

Yes. I still need to find a therapist but i have a psychiatrist.

Tho all the drugs in the world won't make this okay, they'll keep me stable enough to not add extra stress on my family.

Medical professionals can't always make everything okay for people.

No, but It's typically a good idea to see if they can help, if you have access to them. Do we really need to be discouraging people from trying to get help?

They may not be able to make everything okay but they can do a pretty decent job of helping make sure that things don't get any worse.

This is true. But it's always an option people ought to explore first, if they can.

Thanks tho i dunno if they will be. My mom has been confirmed as having ALS and has two to three years to live according to doctors.

Also, can I ask: why does posting often cause more stress?

If it's anything like the reasons I stopped posting under my old name, can I recommend a new account with a new devil-may-care persona? It's remarkably freeing, and really helps vent out the urge to express the more troublesome parts of your personality?

You don't have to worry about being liked, or how you being you affects (effects? I can never remember) other people. Anonymous and pseudonymous spaces have, I feel, literally saved my life

Honestly, for one i've been targeted by a vicious troll before when i was too open and honest.
And second i dunno but blowing off steam online saying whatever just doesn't hold much appeal for me. Getting mad and arguing with people or dealing with anger directed at me puts me in a bad place.

Pretty OK. Woke up early, did some stuff, had a phone interview that went really excellently, had a burger for lunch, poked around a bookstore. Pretty decent.

So, Musk used a rocket test flight to recreate the opening of Heavy Metal.

Better than yesterday!

Pretty good. Gave a speech and got great feedback on it. Also turned in the plan for a class I'm going to teach, and people seem really excited about that. And my doctor finally refilled my painkillers, which I didn't think he was going to do.

I nabbed a chase funko for 20$ bc I was tired of searching for it.

Guaranteed deliveries were at least 29$ but I got lucky at an ebay auction.

I spent too much time online but that happens every day. Other than that it was a pretty good day. I am annoyed at myself for taking Lyft to work. I should ride my bike there and I had no good reason not to.
