Every once in a great while, I'll take particular notice of a well-composed secret or a cleverly chosen picture for it, but for the most part, what I care about is the secret itself. As long as it's not illegible or a wall of text, I'm good with it.

i just try to do interesting or pretty looking secrets for fun, it's definitely not mandatory! just don't sear eyes or clash picture and font colour

The original Post Secret concept was as much an art project as a confessional, so I do feel slightly disappointed when someone just screenshots notepad or w/e. The visual creativity is half the fun. But it's not a huge deal.

I'm all for visual creativity, but personally I don't have the skills to do more than very basic secrets.

It's not really something I notice, either. As long as the secret is legible! Though sometimes I notice a particularly apt image choice or a nice design, I don't expect a work of art.
