I don't know. People are already willing to go to the mat arguing that he was hinted at being gay in the book and that's definitely enough, so I don't see why this will change anything for anyone. People are just really committed to making excuses.

Yeah, Vera Farmiga was brilliant in this role. "Bates Motel" was my introduction to her, and I was fascinated with her portrayal of Norma from the get-go. She made the character so complex, and kept me invested in her story through all its good and bad moments.

I can't speak firsthand to the personal relevance she has to you, but I am glad that she did well at portraying something that rang so true for you and spoke to what you've experienced, and I appreciate you taking a chance in posting about something so personal for you. I wish you well, OP.
