It's sad because I fucking love the second episode. It's one of my favorites of the whole show. But it's bracketed (in the episode, itself and by the previous and following episodes) with all of that super-sekrit, psycho sister bullshit. I hate that fandom can't just accept that most of the season honestly just sucked because it sucked.

That last episode... What the fuck were the writers thinking? And I don't want a season 5. Unless it doesn't suck.

Dude, was the second one the billionaire serial killer one? Because yeah, that was pretty great. I hated the first one, though, and based on what I heard about the third, I decided not to even watch it. "Remember it for what it was" and all that. I was maaaajorly into the fandom up until around that season, and I even, like, 1/3 believed some of the wild theories, but I was just a lurker, so I never contributed, and...now I'm pretty glad, tbh.

For all that it was kind of wild conspiracy nonsense, I DO have to appreciate how bad a show has to be for people to seriously believe that shit, though. Like...y'all won awards and shit, but then you fucked up. You really REALLY fucked up.

It was a good choice to not watch the third one. Because... ugh. I watched it once and never again, even though it's on Netflix and I rewatch things compulsively. I agree that the first one had hints of good stuff in it, but not enough.

It's not really surprising that the fourth season sucked. Each season before had one major clunker episode, along with two good ones (I thought), so it's not that weird to flip that around and make two shitty ones.

I liked that episode, too! There were also large chunks of the first episode that I liked. The season as a whole wasn't an unmitigated disaster and I really wish the final episode had been better.
