Well, I think you've kind of answered your own question there - it can show why certain predatory people are dangerous, and that's important when they are using the net to attract others. But people can do all kinds of invasive stuff with little justification in the name of exposing a dangerous person.

I definitely think doxxing is a problem and it's hard to see any good coming from that in particular. I'm sure theoretically some people deserve it but the chance of having the story wrong or even complete mistaken identity is always there.
