I disagree with the background image because herding cats is actually pretty easy, all you need is a piece of string or some food(or both).

People in fandom on the other hand are impossible to corral.

(I can agree with the sentiment in part though since fandom isn't one monolithic entity, but in some cases in can be apt, like when talking about trends that occur across fandoms for instance).
