Re: TV Talk -- 911

Is anyone watching it? Because I'm in the weird position of shipping Buck/Abby, Bobby/Abby while not shipping Bobby/Buck and being kind of terrified that the familial relationship they've got going on right now will suffer in a jealous love triangle arc.

Also: I want to watch more things with Peter Krause. I've seen Sports Night, Lost Room and have no interest in Dirty Sexy Money. So should I go with Six Feet Under or Parenthood?

I'm an episode behind, but I'm enjoying the show! I'm kiiiiinda shipping Buck/Abby, which feels weird to me because generally age differences creep me out but I'm just gonna go with it lol.

I would go with Six Feet Under! I've never seen Parenthood but my parents loved it and because we have pretty much opposite taste in TV I've been hesitant to watch it. Might try it eventually though.

What is 911? I tried even looking it up on IMDB but found nothing. :(

It's a show on FOX:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt7235466/

Apparently it's written "9-1-1" with hyphens.

Ah, that's why I couldn't find it.

Oh man, makes me miss the days my brother and I used to religiously watch Rescue 9-1-1.

William Shatner makes everything more fun!

NA

It's actually 9-1-1, a show by Ryan Murphy about first responders, following the lives of a 911 operator (Abby, played by Connie Britton), a police officer (Athena, played by Angela Bassett), and a group of paramedics (Bobby, played by Peter Krause; Buck, played by Oliver Stark; Hen, played by Aisha Hinds, and Chimney, played by Kenneth Choi).

I like it.

But I'd like it more if they pulled back a little on their personal lives. Also, I think Buck is cute and Abby is pretty, but it would be nice if the characters didn't keep assuring us that they are the hottest people ever.

I've watched a few episodes with my mom. I don't ship anyone.
Mom said that she felt like it was trying to be like Emergency!, and that Emergency! was the better show even taking into account that it started airing in 1972.
