I think there's a lot of confusion in how people use AU?

But they probably mean AU in the sense of transporting characters into a totally different setting, not just any story that departs from canon? I would imagine?

That's what I thought, which was why I checked through the mod. But, nope. No AUs at all. Not even fix-it fic or minor canon-divergence stuff that would actually get these characters together.

Maybe some kind of weird-ass epistolary fic or something? IDK. That's super weird.
