Re: Apps want access to photos?

You sound immensely paranoid and act like it's a fake-out in order to steal your damned identity. It doesn't want pictures you've taken, dumbass, it wants to access the place any and all screenshots you take in-game. Prompto has a camera, it's probably with that.

Oh my, tough words coming from someone posting anonymously.

How are they tough words calling you a fucking moron? You literally sound extremely paranoid like it's the government watching you or that someone's implanted a virus to steal your identity. It's pretty damn obvious if you think for a moment that it's going to want to be able to store any media like in-game screenshots. Those don't go into the ether.

Okay, let me spell it out for you.

You are accusing me of being paranoid about my identity, all while you are posting anonymously.

If you don't find that remotely ironic, then perhaps you are the stupid one.

By the way, if it's your habit to fly off the handle and spew insults over something that doesn't affect you in the least, then you should look into anger management.

NA
Nice concern trolling.

So defending oneself is concern trolling, got it.

Nah, I just cuss a lot. Some people do that.

Maybe you need therapy because of your paranoia, dude. You're acting like a basic function that makes sense if you think about it for five fucking seconds is a secretly an awful thing.

I don't see how me posting anon makes me paranoid about my identity. I'm just posting anon because I'm not logged in on my damn phone. Shocker! Sometimes people are lazy! But no, there's some nefarious reason and I'm just paranoid.

Newsflash: I'm not the one asking why a video game that has in-game screenshots wants access to where I store my photos.

How conveeeeeeeenient.

By the way, if you're gonna be an asshole, you might as well own it. Shit piss fuck goddamnit sweet Jesus tits is cussing a lot. Calling people dumbass and fucking moron is just being an asshole with no concept of respect for others. And yes, there is a difference. I shouldn't have to explain that to you.

For the record, you're the one who made the leap from a question to OMG GOVERNMENT PARANOIA. Apparently asking a question about a function that a person finds confusing is justification to insult them and accuse them of paranoia.

I've heard of things like flashlight apps that want access to your location and camera. That could just an issue of recycling code or something and not for a nefarious purpose, but it's still creepy and weird and I probably would avoid an app like that. This situation makes sense, but there's nothing weird about wanting to know WHY an app needs access to certain things.

They want access to your camera because they literally use the flash of the camera for the flashlight function.
