Everyone at work loved my brownies. People actually came to my office to tell me how much they liked them! I even overheard some people talking about them later in the day.

Sure!

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Ingredients:
-1 cup flour
-2 cups sugar
-4 eggs
-2 tsp vanilla
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-2/3 cup cocoa powder
-1 cup butter OR oil

1. Stir sugar, vanilla, and eggs into melted butter OR oil
2. Beat in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
3. Pour into 9x13 greased pan (you can half this recipe for a 9x9)
4. Bake for 35-40 minutes. I know it is done because the edges pull away and the top has that cracked look.

You can make those as is but I add "caramel".

Ingredients
-1 cup packed sugar
-1/2 cup butter
-1/4 cup milk

Put them all in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Stir occasionally and keep a close eye on it. Cook it until it is a bit thickened up. It usually takes me like 5 minutes.

I usually pour it into the brownie mix while it is in the pan. And mix it in pretty thoroughly. You don't want to see a lot "swirls" of caramel.

Cook with the usual time (depending on oven obvs). Let is cool COMPLETELY before cutting.

My sister-in-law brought over some fresh-baked cookies today and I am in heaven, especially because hers are really good.

Just gotta make sure to not eat them all too quickly.

Right now happy because I'm making the table all pretty so my parents can have a semi-V-Day date. They are at church right now and bringing home Cracker Barrel. But I'm going to eat in my room and let them have date time. I've got nice dishes out and candles. And I bought a mini strawberry shortcake for them for dessert as well as my dad's favorite oatmeal raisin cookies.
