It's honestly not. I have bad anxiety, and I've found making secrets about my dumb fears/worries helps me get rid of them.

We don't see eye to eye on your secret, OP, or I don't fully understand what you meant about minor/minor ships for my "sick amusement" (my OTP, nonsexual, my preference, is minor/minor.) Regardless, if you have a DW account, feel free to PM me anytime if you're ever comfortable doing so. We don't have to talk about shipping at all. It can be anything really. No one should have to feel lonely like that. I don't know where I'd be if tumblr were my go to site for human interaction, but given my plethora of mental illnesses, it wouldn't be a good place, that's for damn sure. I wish you peace of mind, and be patient with those who think you're a troll. A lot of us have been burned by assholes, myself included.

They're using "ship" like most of the internet uses "ship" -- which is to imply a romantic and/or sexual relationship. And they think people who ship minor/minor in that way for entertainment are doing something sick and disgusting.

If so, I disagree with them. Shippers aren't inherently sick, or disgusting, even if they do ship minors with whoever. I also think the tumblr purity trolls have pushed the attitude that artists and writers require a ball and chains and an endless laundry list of what's "acceptable" to the point where some people, particularly young people, are scared shitless to express an opinion that doesn't go along with diatribe of antis. I prefer not to assume OP's just an asshole. I felt anxious and self-conscious as all hell on tumblr myself until I deleted it back in 2014. Worst fandom space ever.

I don't understand your mindset. There are a plethora of reasons why a person feels shyness or anxiety, and such things don't necessarily impact their capacity for having strong opinions on nasty subjects like pedophilia. For all I know, OP suffered sexual assault by an older person and feels very strongly against those who objectify minors.
