Indeed. :( It takes away some of the charm. He's supposed to be short and intelligent and dealing with Dee-Dee. He's the perfect figure of empathy for geeky kids everywhere!

I've hit Google, Wikipedia, AnimeNewsNetwork and IMDB, and I haven't seen a thing about a new Dexter's Lab series or any continuations past what's already been released.

Am starting to wonder if it isn't Dexter, just a character who looks like it could be.

Same here. But he's also standing next to the monkey that had his own subplot in the show. It has to be Dexter. Can anyone explain this?

Yeah, the bottom half is by an artist called 'Bleedman'. Dexter showed up in a PPG doujinshi (http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=0) that he drew. It's a pretty complex story, a touch angsty sometimes, but overall pretty good.

Still no luck on the top one. >P

It's a design for Cartoon Network's new MMORPG. Not a new series of the cartoon unfortunately.
