No, I do not think that. I vote and I want nothing to do with babies and I'm not even married. I don't think any of this submissive shit that you think women think. I do think you are completely insane and delusional.

Well, that's great, then, but it's everywhere! It's everywhere I turn, all across the world, women arguing that they shouldn't have rights, even saying that their lack of rights is empowering, that being a brood mare to a man is empowering. And those who aren't at that point, disparaging fellow women for not being good enough, for saying the wrong things at the wrong time, and changing their opinions and beliefs to match those of their (male) significant others. Moving, giving up their careers, sacrificing, constantly.

You know they won't even advocate for themselves to take a shower? They have babies, and they won't say, "hey husband, I'm going to take a shower," because they don't want to upset him (and it's always a guy who won't participate in household chores, and won't participate in any of the "dirty work" of parenting). They just...don't shower. I see it over, and over, and over again, so many times that it can't just be a coincidence.

You all think I'm delusional and crazy, but this is all because I keep seeing it, and I don't know what to fucking do about it. I am angry and sad and I want a feminism that tells women you can ask to take a shower, instead of a feminism that focuses on, "the knee of a person on public transit touched my knee and this is not okay."

That's coming at it from the wrong angle. What we need is a feminism that tells men to let women do and say things without criticizing or harassing them for it.

As someone who would just fucking take a shower because the alternative would involve my getting good and ripe and then putting my S.O. in a headlock while he sleeps, so he can get a faceful of disgustingly stinky armpit until he agrees to watch our spawn for five minutes while I disarm my chemical sweat glands, I appreciate it when men actually keep their knees and other bits to themselves on public transit.
