The only franchise I seriously wrote Fic for was because the world was interesting but the people in charge .... really rarely did anything interesting with it. They set up an amazing idea and plot but because it was intended for 7 year olds, they couldn't go as far as they wanted.

I wrote a nearly 37k word fanfic about my favorite character.

I've had some darker ideas sitting for years now, since it's nearly dead, I should try to hammer it out.

Is it A:TLA by any chance? I loved that show and wrote some fic that just demanded I write it, but never posted anything because that fandom looked like a cesspit that I didn't want to dive into.

Oh no, that and Star Wars are things I"d love to write for but the amount of research I'd have to do....not worth it.
