I do it for myself and the fandom (and by fandom, I mean people who like the ships I like, and who are thirsting in the desert for a drop, a bloody drop of some shit featuring the pairings they like).

I'm also bad because I don't finish, start writing a bunch of drawer fic, and also never finish it. SO I'M IN IT FOR ME!

I like kudos, I like comments, but I only care about my fic getting into the hands of those who desperately need it. In that sense, I would hope that among those who enjoy my fic rec it to others, but I have no desire to BNF or any of that. I want "You inspired me to write a fic/remix Your fic/add this PWP I imagined based off of your fic (let's say it was a behind the scenes moment)/fanart of your fic" as long as you pointed to me, it'd be awesome.

I once had someone make a banner for a fic I wrote. It was super nice of them and it was quite lovely! That's my goal level.
