I didn't really understand what OP was saying, but they seem to be worried about agreeing with the haters? Like they read enough hate comments and suddenly started side-eyeing one of the members (whom I assume is the target of said hate comments) because other people's opinions have swayed them.

I'm guessing 'happy fictional idol world' isn't the best phrase to use, but just wanting to love a group and not get sucked into a cycle of hate sounds legit to me. OP was reacting to fan hate, not asking their fave idols to live up to impossible fan expectation.

It sure reads to me like this anon's "perfect fictional idol world" is the one that exists when they don't pay attention to anything but the music and performances and totally ignore the idols' personal lives, which is exactly the opposite of the kind you're talking about
