tHE Disney one added a female character for Lucy to talk to. They showed Lucy's warrior side, in the sense that she picks up weaqpons and fights, which the audience was otherwise possibly never going to see, bc it's doubtful Horse and His Boy will ever get filmed. They showed rather than told, what Susan was up to during that time. They better explained what Aslan meant when he scolded Lucy for wanting to be prettier. They dealt with Edmund's lingering dark side (which I know some people think misses the point but...)

I do really like the BBC's Silver Chair though, especially since the reboot is trapped in Development Hell.
