I want more horror games that don't rely on jump scares.

I'd also love some more horror TV that isn't sexualized or gory.

And for movies, I want more scifi!

Yes to the second one. And also movies as well. I don't entirely mind gore. But I much prefer horror tv and movies that are psychological, thrillers, and just plain scary without having to make people jump or gross them out.

Yeah, I am a total wimp with jump scares. I really hate them. I can recognize that there is some artistic merit or accomplishment in a great jump scare, but I just don't like them. I also hate shock-value gore and torture. But I do like creepy, eerie things. It's why I think Sixth Sense is one of the better horror movies, because it just creates a creepy atmosphere with minimal jump scares, and it's a story that exists independently instead of something built around a series of attempts to make the audience scared.

I just think they are such a cheap way to make people scared.
