Sad Puppies is basically a normal conservative movement with your normal mix of whites, non-whites, men and women. Rabid Puppies are the alt-right.

The reason I like this analogy is because the Sad Puppies are basically ineffectual except as a polite cover for the Rabid Puppies, who they largely support

As far as I can tell, they've mostly grumped off now that EPH is in effect to their own message boards and have thrown their weight behind the Dragoncon awards.

I think Wright and Beale supported "comicsgate" but no one showed up for that.

Nah, there was a split for a reason.

That said, Sad Puppies was never intended to last. It just got way more attention than initially expected.
