What's he done?

I heard something about starting a depression awareness campaign that didn't actually do anything, or something like that..

I'm thinking of his numerous run-ins with service staff where he posts about being mistreated without saying what the actual issue is and gives just enough information that his fans can figure out who the service person is (I think he posted a picture of one? I may be wrong about that). The one incident I know the most about, the fan-hate forced the restaurant to take down their Facebook page. The fans also went onto restaurant review sites and gave a lot of one-star reviews.

It's happened enough that Jared knows this is how his fans will react. It was brought to his attention and he played the victim.

The depression awareness campaign was actually extremely successful, and i think something like 100 Supernatural fans went through 50 hours of training to be online/phone people you call if you're feeling suicidal.
