Is the same show we had a recent secret about, complaining that the men weren't objectified as much as the women?

Because damn.

(Anonymous) 2018-03-03 10:02 pm (UTC)(link)
I see what you're saying but the show does still manage to objectify women even more

It has extremely high objectification levels all around

So which is it? "More" or "all around"?

I haven’t watched the show, but have you ever attempted to read superhero webcomics? There are a lot of webcomics that have super-sexualized women, attempt to make it “fair” by super-sexualizing the men, and still have the women noticeably more sexualized than the men. (Grrl Power is a good example of the type, and El Goonish Shive sometimes leans in this direction.)

Yeah, I'm cool with that because I'm a bisexual woman who finds naked women more attractive than naked men. And the way that's politicized as an equality issue has a lot to do with my distaste for feminism.

So because your taste personally runs more towards women, then the oversexualisation of women in society shouldn't matter. Yep, keep going on being a selfish douche,OP. For the record, I'm not advocating men being sexualised also- two wrongs don't make a right. But anyone who doesn't think that women are overly sexualised in this society have their head up their own ass.

As for the original OP, harsh and pretty prejudiced against Swedish men.

I really don't understand what those things have to do with each other.

JSYK, feminists have an equal or more distaste for you. It IS an equality issue and you're a douche.

Men are at 8; women are at 11

They're not mutually exclusive concepts. If the Happy Doughnut Van visits your neighborhood and gives all the little boys 30 doughnuts each and all the little girls 50 doughnuts each, then the little girls definitely have more doughnuts per person, but in general, that's still a lot of doughnuts for your neighborhood.

^ Yep, this.
