I actually tried banning (some of) them, getting Xkit for tumblr and an add-on for AO3. But 1) it doesn't work on mobile and 2) people don't tag that stuff consistently.

Some call it 'imagines', others call it reader!fic or self-insert or reader insert. Lately I've seen so-called 'headcanons' that are basically rough versions of imagines. And that's if the damn thing gets a name at all. I'd be fine with this entire genre if people could decide on one unique term that's easy to block. Because am I really supposed to block words like 'imagine', 'reader' or 'headcanon'?
