I second you on the call for Harley Quinn! I madly avoided spoilers, so when I first saw Maggie Gyllenhaal in the trailers, I assumed she was Harley - she has the prefect face for her, I think. I was to bummed when I found out she was playing Rachel instead. Harley > Rachel.

Excuse me, my knowledge of Batman is limited and I can only remember so much of Batman: The Animated Series now that's it's been about 10 years since I last saw it, but who is Rachel?

Rachel Dawes, played by Katie Holmes in Batman Begins. Childhood friend, assistant district attorney, and Bruce Wayne's love interest. Holmes turned down the offer to play Rachel in The Dark Knight, so the role will by filled by Maggie Gyllenhaal. She first appeared in Batman Begins, and wasn't in TAS at all.
