I don't watch this show. But I would not want a gun in my house, and I would freak out about it if someone brought one.

Why? Honest curiosity as someone who grew up around gun owners and now owns one myself.

Because they scare me. Because the statistics say that you are more likely to shoot yourself or another non-threat than you are to actually be able to use it to defend yourself. And I don't want that in my house.

DA I would be freaked out if someone had a gun they didn't use for work or hunting, and if it wasn't stored properly unloaded in a gun safe. I also grew up around gun owners (rural area) and I think there's a big difference between people who actually use guns and people who "have" a gun.
