After he apparently cheated on her, which does not make her the most objective source.

This is true. Though if she's lying, I'd expect one or all of the below:

* some sort of libel/defamation lawsuit against the ex-wife
* strong denials from Whedon
* strong denials from the suspected actresses and defending Whedon, if he's not guilty of that behavior


I don't think any of those things have happened, though.

It depends on the specifics of what specifically she said and where she said it and all the rest of it. And I'm too lazy to actually look up what those specifics are. I'm just saying, all of those things are very specific to the nuances of the story. It's entirely possible that she didn't say anything that would leave her open to a libel lawsuit, or that would demand strong, specific denials from any publicists.

It's just unreasonable to imply that there wasn't a libel lawsuit, therefore it's probably true.

Did his ex-wife even name names? Because what I've read seems like people who don't know anything using it as an excuse to dump on women who've worked with him.

(And yeah, I know he's at least vaguely admitted to some of it.)
